Rafaela Paulo Teixeira is a marine biologist, who recently graduated in Marine and Coastal Systems International Master of Science at the University of Algarve. She is the Founder/CEO of the Fish4Me, a winner of the Capstone Project Awards during her participation to the U.S. Department of State Program Study of the U.S. Institutes for Student Leaders from Europe Program at the University on Environmental Issues at the University of Oregon.
Besides her passion for fisheries studies, Rafaela has also a high determination to put into practice other topics of marine biology and oceanography in terms of research and management, such as ecotoxicology, restoration and conservation. She also loves to write and teach about these topics. In 2019, her passion led to her the distinction by the American organization fhi360 at the International Day of Woman and Girls in Science.
At the age of 24, Rafaela is currently preparing to publish the research study fully planned, developed and executed by her for the MSc thesis dissertation and is ready for a jump into her professional career.
